So a friend on facebook posted these pics of East Carson River Hot Springs ! It looks so nice , and especially theirs a OHV trail to get there, but the guy is being kinda hush hush about how to get there, and thought I'd ask here since the internet is vague on the route and I did a search on...

It's about an hour north of Ft. Bragg in Northern California, off Hwy 1 as it starts to go back into the trees about 5 miles, their is Usal Rd ( Mendocino County Rd 431 ) , turn left onto the rd at mile marker 90.33, follow through the woods about 5.5 miles to Sinkyone state park / Usal Beach...

So went up to Sacramento, picked up my girl Jan, and went into the mountains. Found this forest service rd named "Ya" ... so "Ya , had to take it ! I don't think its used very much and had some tight "Pin Striping" areas ! ha ... but went for miles and came out my this cool old cabin and neat...

Enjoyed my the group as always, had a great time ! put up my "custom" Awning ! ha , had awesome meals off the group cook trailer, enjoy Peets coffee out of the press, and frequented my favorite dippin' hole to cool off in ! Already looking forward to next year !

Yes absolutely ! I read online where there are a bunch of drunken idiots up racing around the camp sites, cranking tunes and shooting guns all hours of the night... so when I went on a tuedays ... its was totally Zen Peace quiet ... only one there ...well except for 3 geese ...

No its about 35 miles south of Vacaville or so ... just south of Walnut Creek , and north of Danville.

Went to the Town of Moraga , to see some redwoods and enjoy the ahhhh for a lil bit , then went up to the top of Mt Diablo ..... nice local trip !

I was up there in early April , the gate was closed do to rd being washed out from the rains, and several trees blocking the road several places , based on a ranger' s say ...After seeing the gate closed and talking to the ranger , I just hung out at the beach for the day. Was there on a tuesday...
