    Sagging Annex

They are made to be that way so there is no stress on the joining points. Also, if on a slight grade where the annex is downhill it gives you room to still use it without it dangling in mid air.

Started from the bottom, now we're here

How do/did you like the bed tent? That is what I got for my truck as I do not want a rack and RTT. And the cost of a RTT is prohibitive. Have not had to chance to get out and use mine yet because winter has hit us hard. I built a drawer system in the bed of my truck also, so the tent will be...

    Happy New Year

Yes, I do get out and play in fresh snow at times....it is a whole different ballgame than playing in mud and rocks. However, being in WNY there are not many places to find to go wheeling. Happy New Year.

Solid food that can be reheated in a saucepan on a campstove

Almost all foods were at one time reheated on the stove top before microwave ovens existed, and many still refuse to use a microwave. If done properly, it is fairly simple. The food should be thawed or mostly thawed first, and if you only have a stove top to cook on, it can be made into an oven...

    Snorkels?

I chose to run a snorkel mostly because I like the looks of them. But, when I put it on I found out it did improve my fuel mileage by about 1mpg. It also seems to run a little cooler. For those that say it restricts airflow, I suggest you do some research into it. While at a stop at idle, no it...

    Overland Bound Emblems!

Received my emblem today, nice day after Christmas surprise. Will probably have to wait until spring to attach it to my truck as winter has set in pretty hard now. Looking forward to getting out and doing some snow wheeling with the fresh two feet we just got. Had a camping trip planned over...

Fairly new guy from WNY area.

The USPS has been slow for several months and now with Christmas it's been almost a nightmare slow. Took 10 days longer to deliver mine than what the tracking stated and for a while they didn't even know where it was. But at least things are still moving....it could be much worse.

US Northwest I want to do the TAT (Trans American Trail) in 2021

I am also planning on doing at least part of the TAT this next summer....starting up in PA/NY area and following it for about 10 days before I head back home. I have done camping trips before but almost always local, this will be my first time going actually overlanding that distance. I will be...
