Hi Aliesha! Not sure what part of Montana you're in, but we have a very active group of of CDA\Spokane area, we do trips each month and post them all here
We have a trip coming up from CDA to polebridge in July (19th-21st). We'll post the rally point in a few weeks, we have a trip next week...
Welcome! Check out the TriCities clubhouse
And we have a very active group here in Spokane\CDA area (link in my signature to our thread with our trips(past and upcoming dates) we have one we with a couple spots left leaving mid day Friday the 7 through the 9th hitting sections 2 and 4 of the...
I plan on uploading the route this weekend. I've added a couple of the waypoints @MrWilsonWJ suggested (Seriously, thanks!) and we'll start the PM thread.
At this point, is everyone planning on leaving at 1230 Friday? it's 4hrs from our meeting point (Pilot Travel Center off 90, 10506 W...
That's awesome and some great info. I'll definitely be looking at my route and seeing what I can incorporate. shouldn't be super tight on time, but as I'm sure you know, time tables can quickly get out of whack with a group. let alone any recoveries or breakdowns.
THANK YOU!
Yes please send me any waypoints and recommendations.
that by pass is that bypassing Baby Head Hill?
I'm planning on camping right on the ridge, either at that first wide area, or up and around so we're on the ridge but facing west (for sunset) I remember there being several areas up there...
Yes! I love my trailer for what it is and what is capable of (and especially that I built it) but I hate taking it tight now, because I haven't built out the inside and so it's all super disorganized and I rarely fill up more than 1/2 unless I'm bringing firewood. So I end up with the mindset...
so I spent about 4k but I bought a HF 4x8 trailer (cut it down to 4x6) I did all the welding myself, but built a metal box (you could do wood) and got a custom width axle (to match the GX), 1600lb sprints, brakes, 7pin harness, used my old lexus wheels and tires, max coupler hitch... rino...
One Discussion a few of us had around the campfire one night was about doing a "meetup" at the OHV park just outside of Spokane.
The thought would be this would be a (Somewhat) controlled environment for folks to test their skills/limits, as well as their vehicles limits/capabilities to...
OnX has updated their "recent imagery" as of May 13th and Snow levels look promising for June 7-9th BDR trip. I think we'll still have snow to get through but who knows what 3 weeks will do. Section 3 I think will need to be bi-passed, and I have a tentative route in mind starting at Bethal...
For those that were on the May trip, here's some info on Omak Lake (the diamond of a find by April @AcJ ) looks like only the northern end is usable by non tribal members

I think as much as I'm liking OnX, this trip proved it's not ready to be a stand alone solution. several flaws showed through that I think just mean I will keep Gaia as well. I'm not sure if I had to choose one which one I'd choose... I kinda feel like OnX, at least recently is making more...
Curious who all is running OnX and who's running Gaia? I run both, I'd previously been Gaia bias, but after the last couple updates, I'm more OnX as my main with Gaia as a backup for information.
