Behind the knee panel below the steering column, there should be enough room for the body.
There is also a pass through on either end of the dash under the end covers thst go through to the engine bay. They are filled with foam but a wire hanger works well to fish the wires through.

Not sure how much CB radio equipment they would have in store and I don't believe they do installs either. And be prepared for them to try and talk you into ham radio instead of CB. :tearsofjoy:

I am not sure Canada has any other license free radio services other than CB and GMRS.
And since GMRS in Canada is a 2w handheld I would image any mobile VHF/UHF radio would require a license.
In the US the VHF/UHF radio would also require an amateur radio license either from US or Canada...
