I'm in the process of getting ready for KoH again and have lots of little things to do. One thing was that my wipers stopped working and to fix it I had to pull the radio, heater controls, and the instrument panel to get "comfortable" access. While I was in there I figured that I'd pull my...
Theres always something that comes up. I spent a lot of time sitting and staring, running things through my mind so that I could avoid future problems and also make things more serviceable in the future. For example I modified my engine cross member, I cut in the middle, plated it and bolted it...
It's been a long time since I've updated this thread...
I've haven't really done a ton to my rig, I've been crazy busy the last several months. Since mating the cab and chassis and putting hundreds of miles on it I've discovered several little bugs I need to work out... nothing major, infact...
Is there a possibility of one of the "admins" of this thread posting a link to the new IE meetup thread or whatever it should be called? ... the one without the bug.
I was a little nervous about airing down at first too. Now when I go out, if it's more than a just a quick ride to get the asphalt out of my system, I'll sometimes air down to as low as 15psi! I'm in an old 1970 k20 suburban (HEAVY Chevy) without beadlocks and I have never had a problem.

I'd also like to ad that a 4WD rig with ope front and rear diffs are still essentially 2WD... so a 2WD truck with a locker can go almost anywhere a 4WD can go if they don't have lockers.

Well sir, I'm impressed by your knowledge about the origination of the automatic transmission... that is a cool little tidbit of history/trivia [emoji106] [emoji41].
