The EV overlanding conversation is an interesting one. It does offer quite a few options that are quite useful.. think of all the battery systems we design for our rigs to power fridges, lights, camp equipment and so on.. built right in on an EV. They are quite for the most part, lots of tech...
Removed the RTT, the 270 Awning, and the Joolca shower surround. Everything stored away for the winter. Probably won’t camp again till the late spring. It is warm enough in the winter here to do some, but just do t see it happening. If it does, it only takes about 30 minutes to reinstall...
mines a ram long bed so nothing out there would touch my cab. I have 8’3” of bed length to play with. That’s why I went with Voodoo. They make an actual long bed rack. It’s 88” long. Plus it mounts into the track on my tonneau cover. I went with the 23Zero tent because of the light suppression...
I have the voodo Fabrication max modular rack on my 2500 I have mine at cab height I think it’s an 18” by 88” since I have a long bed. I like the cab height so I can walk under my RTT and use the Annex. And with my 270 awning I wanted higher mounting to walk under. I’m 6’4 so it’s needed. A...
love it. I’m by no means saying women can’t hack what men can on a trip. Most women are way stronger mentally for sure, and when it’s tough going, they keep going. Ive been around a ton of big strong guys on trips that are huge moody baby’s Making everyone else miserable.
Biggest thing for us...

Tend to pack on the heavier side. I want everything under the tonneau cover. But camping to me is what I need, but all the comfort stuff means the wife will join me and be happy. So full kitchen box with everything.
dry goods box
Fold up table to set up kitchen,
easy up tent
. RTT with annex...
We take ours everywhere. Since day one. Riding in the car is fine. She sleeps in her kennel on the back seat or in my wives lap. She is an explorer, but really wants to be wherever we are. We just take her food, blankets and a few toys. Treats for when she really listens. She is 10 months so...
Camping this past week at Payne’s Creek Campground on Lake Hartwell. It was our first really hot and humid camping trip In this setup. 105 heat index, so glad to be on the water most of the day. Little breeze at night off the water helped. Plus the zero breeze a/c unit with fans makes sleeping...
Added RGB LED lights to the arms on my Awning. Need some more lighting for setup. Used RGB so I had options for at night, especially yellow if it’s buggy
