I've taken my 17" Blackstone griddle camping. It works great depending on what you plan on cooking and you don't need to bring a pan. Just make sure you have something else to boil water. Nice they thought of that side-burner on the first stove.

Bear Creek CG is a pretty good campground. I've hardly seen anyone there, they have pit toilets, and the creek runs year round. Probably going there this weekend.

Cedar Camp is gone. Burned down during one of the fires. Last I drove by, the road leading up to it was overgrown.

And why I never camp around there, and still don't know the draw of that place. Last summer I came across a fatal SxS crash right there on the north side. Rescue chopper was just getting there, but you could tell the guy was already dead. On a better note, I would continue west on Bartlett...
