I have Byrna pistol. I do think it's necessary to have a non-lethal option, since they no longer let you use lethal force to protect your property.  Someone can literally be beating your truck with a baseball bat, and if you're not in it at the time, you can't use lethal force. For self-defense...

For full-timing, I decided to go to truck and trailer route. I like being able to set up base camp, and not have to break camp down to go anywhere. My preference is to stay in each location for a couple weeks.

I just transitioned to full-timing, so I went with the HQ17. Love it!!!

No wag here, but my trailer only weighs 6,000lbs. Still waiting for my torsion sway bars (back ordered).

There is no better ride than coils. The Carli springs are softer, and will sag under load (trailer). The Air Lift bags only connect on top (cradles required), so you don't lose articulation.

Is Overlanding fulltime, still "Overlanding", or are you now just living in a van down by the river? :-) P.S. I'm now full timing it :-)

2020 Ram 2500 with Carli Dominator Suspension towing a Black Series HQ17 & Yamaha TW200. Needed more room than my Jeep & Teardrop, because I sold my house, and went full-time :-)

Pulled into a gas station, in Cody Wyoming, just now. Saw a nice looking Land Cruiser with the snorkel!!! Turns out, it's @John Dibble He's a machinist, and the fabricator, Who caters tour Overlander's. The rack he made for his Land Cruiser is one of the nicest I've seen.

AT is in Prescott, but the owner lives in Fruita Colorado. Got my ticket the first day. Need to change my avatar again. I now have a 98 5.9 Black ZJ with 230,000 fewer miles!!!
