Yes I'm aware. To be honest that situation sounds like the shovel wasn't properly secured. I used the example of branches because my mounts have yet to let a tool go with trees catching and trying to rip them free. The point is that from my experience they're completely reliable on trails and...
I've never had an issue either and I've dragged my tools through branches plenty of times. It's worth mentioning that it's wise to have your tools installed in a fashion that reduces the chance of something catching it. I use my shovel to shield as much of my Pulaski as possible.
Unfortunately LEDs are known for being 'sloppy' with the light they throw in reflector housings. Glaring to oncoming drivers and a relatively short throw as compared to even halogens. Don't get me wrong I love LEDs and swapped my first bulb back in 2001 but for me the current design just doesn't...
Well I can tell you an Outback will easily do everything you want it to do and adding the items you're considering will only increase its abilities. That gen is rather limited as far as bigger tire sizes go but a traction tire will work wonders with Subaru AWD.. at the expense of some mpg.

Looking forward to it!
Does anyone have anything fun planned for their Subaru? A trip or any fun modifications? My current project is customizing my rack to accommodate Rotopax water/gas cans and my Traction Jacks in the same footprint while still being easy to access. Next up is designing my...

Turns out with enough pressing and wiggling they will stick to my headliner. Not pictured here.. I have BROG patches on my seatback molle panels and my numbered member patch is on my 5.11 molle tablet case. Time for more haha.
Welcome @Str0mTr00per14 and @Clang!
As I am admittedly a fan of Subaru's it's always nice to see another well appointed Outback @Str0mTr00per14. Feel free to check out this thread https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/subaru-owners-registry.3450/
Looks like you've got a date with an angle grinder and some undercoating. Or a BFH. All depends on how much of an issue there is. Gotta love rubbing issues...
I don't run steelies but there's no need for the cap. You may want to smear a super thin layer of grease or anti-sieze to the...
