Hey folks, I'm going to be stepping down as the NJ guy. We are moving to VT in July because of a work transfer. I think we got a good thing started and I'll be around from time to time in NJ.
Leatherman MUT. Has just what I need, use it constantly, and love it.
I also keep an old Gerber in the arm rest of the truck that I probably have had for 15 years.
Had the BDS Fox 6" coilovers installed. Set them to 5". So the truck now has the equivalent of a 5" lift. I don't want to go any higher. It would ruin the usability.
The kickoff is this weekend. Saturday May 6th at Washington Rock State Park.
I will have hotdogs, cold drinks, and some frozen treats with me. Hopefully enough for everyone. I will be there at 12 noon, depending on how the baby cooperates.
Looking forward to meeting up with you all!
May 6th is the date. Looks like Washington Rock is better for most so it will be the location.
Not sure what else we need. We are just getting started. Next will be finding a place or two for the monthly meetups. I have been working on that too. I'll let everyone know when I have more on that.
I would like the coating option. I scrubbed my emblem the other day and it has taken a hit from the salt spray. It's not ruined yet but one more winter will be brutal.
Would like to hear everyone's thought on the kickoff location. Do you guys prefer a more central location like Washington Rock State Park? Or stick with High Point?
Chime in and let me know.
Gate down makes perfect sense if you don't have a platform or don't mind the back being down with bad weather. His setup is a raised platform that doesn't extend past the tailgate, hence my question. Maybe he had an extension I didn't see but that wasn't the case.
