    IKamper Skycamp Roof Top Tent

Terrific design, certainly pushes the traditional canvas RTT out IMO. Haven’t been convinced on an RTT as yet, weight and pack up are a factor for me. Despite our mostly overlanding overnight style - we do also like to claim a campsite and then go out exploring - occasionally.... obviously a...

    Solar panel for off-grid camping

I run two 90w Goal Zero panels. These suck in serious amps even in low light, dusk and dawn. I am still supplementing with an old 80w Projecta folding panel. Wired in solar is a godsend. Charging whilst at the shops or off on that bushwalk is terrific. Running both 50L and a 11L fridges as...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

This weekend we had the brake proportioning valve adjusted on the LandCruiser, it was far too biased to the rear. Unfortunately I was able to test out the adjustment on a dusty trail when a fool came around the blind bend too fast. Feels quite a bit more stable under heavy braking now.

I have a SOTO Muka (15800 BTU) stove or the campfire, hopefully either will prove enough.

What's your experience with OZTENT RV Series tent(s)?

Only the back window has an external awning. The normal windows on the other 3 sides open and close from inside the tent on the RV range. Most people chose the RV for the unique unfold setup. Other ground tents may well be better or equal in quality, design and appeal - but they're not the same.

    Drones for videography and stills

Recently picked up a Mavic Air, still learning but REALLY happy with its video quality - stills are AMAZING.

    Who cooks with a Wok?

True, packs up small but provides equally small cooking realestate too, especially the frypan/skillet.

    Who cooks with a Wok?

They look unreal, I've seen some really good dishes cooked up on those, nice and simple.

    Who cooks with a Wok?

Perfect. I carry a Snow Peak cookset that includes a couple of saucepans and a small black steel skillet. They rarely all get used at once. Love a multi-purpose tool like the Wok suggests.

Post pictures of your camp kitchen

Kitchen and bathroom in one. Made a beef curry up, from scratch and put the washing up and bath water on to boil.

    SnoMaster vs National Luna comparison

Thought I would share a follow-up to my previous post. We had some trouble over Summer with our 3 year old National Luna Weekender. The company helped us out, without argument despite the Warranty period just expiring. Read my full write-up on my blog here

    Otterbox unvarnished gear review.

I had an Otterbox on my Nokia Lumia 900 unbreakable, beautifully made and designed for the phone. Life proof for my iPhone 6s - rubbishy quality and the screen is very susceptible to damage. Allowed dust in too Replaced with an Otterbox Commuter - better built but not as well designed as the...
