This is not about EPA Regs (though it is one reason) or necessarily safety features, this is about protecting US Dealerships and US Manufacturers. It prevents you from importing a $12k brand new car meant for emerging markets (also lacking pollution controls & safety equip), thus robbing sales...

I mean, we did it successfully. I rented a small pop-up for heat & protection from the weather. However, we had to pack so much stuff for a newborn it just made it hard to enjoy the experience. Give it 3-6 months and go for it. At 6 mos. they're stronger, have figured out that life outside...
We camped once...and only once with our 6 wk. old, in a pop up camper. That was with our 2nd kid, so we weren't rookies, our 3 year old had a blast...we (Mom and Dad) were pretty tired and stressed out. We left a day early (it was only 3 nights to begin with) and were glad when we got home...
Yep, there are a few of us! I love mine, wish I had maybe gotten the better QDII system, but I wanted the 4.7L more than the QDII, so I have the QTII. At some point, I'd like to add an ARB rear locker which would really get me almost there.

Ok, dumb question time...was that sold originally in the US? I don't remember the Mitsu ever coming with the shortened (non-US) bumper? I remember the bumper sticking out like 3 ft in front (ok, that's an exaggeration)!
