The FB is apparently just like the EJ in regards to oil burning. More times than not the oil burning in the new engine can be narrowed down to the break in. Based on my experience and the experience of others the FB usually takes 8-10k to completely break in.

Yeah there’s still plenty of room and I’d say that if you were up for trying you could install it one handed. I was going to mention that in the other thread but either way a large pair of channellocks can give you the last bit of push to get it to pop in if one side hangs up a bit.

No problem! Sorry to hear about your shoulder. A bottle jack works really well mainly because of the fact that it lifts straight up and it’s small profile is a bonus but even the cars scissor jack can work. Let me know when you’re ready and I’ll give you the details.
