They lock up when your on the gas and unlock when you let off. If going slow like turning into a parking spot you can hear them click. It's the cheapest way I know of to have a locker they are not the best but it works and makes a big difference in off road capability. I liked it it just takes...

I have used a powertrax lunchbox locker that I took out of my TJ before I sold it. I have a Rubicon now so i'm not going to use it. They work good but do take some getting use to. If your interested let me know.

The trails are good from easy to hard depending on your setup but always a good time. If your up this way give a shout always looking to camp and ride!

It was a little muddy in a couple spots with some deep ruts . One of the guys in our group had his 4wd go out and he only needed help one time. But it is always better to have someone with you if you're new to offroading . Have fun and congratulations on the new jeep!

We did a diy trailer with a roof top tent and like it a lot. The box is 4x5 and pulls great on and off road and the TJ would pull it with no problem. we leave all the gear in it so we can just hook and go without having to load and forget something. If your staying in one place a few nights...

f250ben is right a gun is not a fix all. It is a last resort always try to stay out of putting yourself in that position. If you carry get the training and know the law.
