If you didn't get a reply, there is no need to start another thread on the same topic. Simply post in the first one again, asking if anyone has a suggestion. If not, try a Jeep specific forum. This forum has a lot of wonderful information, but if I have any questions specific to my 4Runner, I go over to the t4r.org forum and search.

I have used a powertrax lunchbox locker that I took out of my TJ before I sold it. I have a Rubicon now so i'm not going to use it. They work good but do take some getting use to. If your interested let me know.

Thanks Steve i Appreciate your reply and i have looked on the Jeep Forms . IM just wanting to see what other people in the Overland community other than the jeep people are running in their vehicles so i can make my choice on what brands are out there to pick from.

I see. Many of the newer vehicles come with electronic lockers and computerized traction settings, so manual or air lockers are rarely needed. Sure, pure rock hoppers still use them, but that's not what most Overland Bound members are into.

thanks ..... how did you like the Lunch bot and did it make alot of noise and did you experience any problems? thanks Pappy
They lock up when your on the gas and unlock when you let off. If going slow like turning into a parking spot you can hear them click. It's the cheapest way I know of to have a locker they are not the best but it works and makes a big difference in off road capability. I liked it it just takes some getting used to.

I had those in my Toyota 4Runner (front & rear)and Tacoma(front & rear) and they work great - every time with no worries about air lines or electricity issues. For the price you can not beat them and especially the installation - no axle gear technician is needed.
My current 4Runner has the electric rear locker in it which is nice to have when needed. It can be a bit finicky when it comes to locking/unlocking.

You can be so mean sometimes. I know that it appears that way over the internet, maybe try adding a smiley face to your rude posts. :)
