Have you ever tried Kwak it comes in a unique glass.
My wife is from Belgium, and I used to spend a lot of time there.
But there are so many different beers there that I only sampled a fraction of them.

One of the funniest things I saw was in Moab also, we were driving up the road to Gemini Bridges and there was a group of jeeps coming down. This was in summer and it was pretty warm out, so they were all going topless. And a couple of them were flying kites while riding in the jeeps. And a few...
I don't like crowds at all. So I won't go on any of their organized trail runs. But there are plenty of trails to go on that aren't on the official trail list.
All the people in town can be annoying too, but seeing some of the incredible vehicles is worth it.
Some years I just stay out of...
The pictures I posted earlier were the Jeep exhibit, here are some from the vendors displays at the arena. This year it seems like it was almost all jeeps, in past years there were unimogs, and pinzgaures or however you call them. It seems that there is not as much variety in vehicles as years...
Here are a few pics of concept vehicles that Jeep had on display. I took a test drive in a new 4 door Rubicon, I was really impressed. If only I won the lottery.
Hey Robert,
Good for you, not letting the terrorists win. I have family in Belgium, and they have told me how bad things are becoming now. I think it's a good thing that they are not allowing free movement across the border anymore, even though it is inconvenient for good people like you.
Incredible pics, I have never seen the Northern Lights. I would like to come up and see them sometime, but the wife is terrified of cold weather. I may just have to make the trip without her.
Dan,
That would be so much fun to do. Not the same as our local desert trails, of course.
I will try to talk my brother in law, in Belgium to get some kind of 4x4 vehicle, so the next time we visit we can go to the Ardennes or someplace to green lane. But I don't think I will have much luck...
I will take a look at Robert's posts, I don't think I have heard that term before though. I do have a lot of family in Belgium, but I don't think that any of them do overlanding or green laning. Thanks,to you and Daniel for educating me.

Hey Dan,
I haven't been here long myself, but welcome to the group.
Can you explain to me what you mean by Green laning? I assume it is driving on 4x4 routes, but it's not a good idea to assume. Anyway that is a serious deep water crossing. I'm impressed.

Hey John,
I have been to Alamos and I agree with you, an awesome place to visit. I do need to work on my Spanish some (actually a lot). But with my wife speaking it so well, I don't bother. There is so much more to explore, I wish I had more time and money.
