Good review! I've had the same fridge for about 3 years now, and if it quit I would replace it immediately.
I take mine in the truck, (I am a long haul trucker).
I also have a large canyon cooler ice chest for river raft trips, which is nice but for vehicle supported trips you can't beat a...
I try to see all the pics that you aussie's post.
But where are all the grasshoppers? Or kangaroos.
I expected to see at least one or two in every pic.
Are they endangered or something?
Oh yeah, please show us some koalas too.

That was not as tight a squeeze as it looks in the pic. There are some canyons down in the north wash that are so tight that I will never go through them again.
This was an article published in the local newspaper, I thought some of you might enjoy it.
Strictest land protection measure yet
The Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) announced at a press conference on Monday, April 1, that it would soon launch a campaign for its toughest land...
mmnorthdirections,
The next time you get to Arches, say hi to my wife Monique. She has worked in the visitor center there for many years. I liked your pics.
I just bought a canyon cooler 103 qt. cooler. I really got it for my raft, not for the jeep because I have an ARB fridge for the jeep. The canyon cooler seems really well made and the 103 qt. model is designed for rafts. But if you can swing it I highly recommend getting a 12v fridge, I would...
There are Indian drawings or petroglyphs and pictographs all over southern Utah. A lot of them are not published and some people won't tell their locations. Because the damn vandals ruin them.
It's been about 25 years since I drove the Mojave Road. I plan on going next winter, it doesn't look like much has changed. I enjoyed your pics. Thanks
Hey Steve,
I've heard of the crown jewels, and family jewels, but never heard of the western jewels. But I like that.

My jeep xj fits easily without folding the mirrors.
But that is a beautiful drive.
We will probably do it again soon, and spend more time exploring Beef Basin.
You posted some very nice pics, thanks.
Here are a few pics from a couple years ago.
My son and his girlfriend came along on a trip to Goblin Valley.
The ladies seem to like to straddle that one rock.
We got over to Goblins Lair and rappelled down into it.
After leaving Goblins Lair we walked back and enjoyed the springtime...
When my boys were about 10 and 12 years old, I took them to Durango, Colorado to go mountain biking.
I think the trail I took them to was called the Hermosa Creek Trail over 20 miles of mostly downhill. Anyway I dropped the boys off at the top and told them that I would meet them at the...
If you ever make it there, try to go to Brugges. This is the town my wife is from, it is an ancient city from around 1200. It is one of the most beautiful in Europe.
