    Hiker Trailer 5x9 Offroad Build

The 5x9 Offroad starts at 10k. We added a bit to the total mostly w/electrical/solar system. The awnings and all of the camping gear were transferred over from the truck. All in we're still under what any of the other offroad campers even start at. On a side note, financing! Seems like a lot...

    Hiker Trailer 5x9 Offroad Build

Good question hahaha. I had Hiker install the tank and am going to install the pump and plumbing myself. Will probably do this sometime over the next couple weekends. There will be a fill port and outlet located on the rear end of the driver's side near the propane tank. Eventually I'll add a...

I was just coming to post this though: Not sure if any of these parts would come in handy for anyone but if you need any of these let me know and I'll send your way. Mostly Rhino Rack mounting parts for awnings etc. Also a set of Thule accessory bar mounts. These let you mount Thule bars on...

What pans do you guys use??

Seems like most people here are pretty fond of the cast iron but I'm w/you on this one. We got a couple different sizes of MSR's nonstick pans w/the folding handles. They're light, store small, cook well, and are easy to clean.

    Utah Overland Trip (Moved Post)

Yeah, if I were putting a full on aux tank in there I'd def go metal or at least put a skid plate over it. But on the XK that space is cavernous. I think if you managed to hit the tank you would probably break a lot more in the process. Either way, I feel like I really need to utilize all that...

The Search for the BEST Overland Camp Chair

We have a couple of Helinox chairs and the little table to match. They're awesome mostly because they take up zero space. We can fit two of them under the passenger seat in the truck. I think they're pretty comfortable too. They are a bit pricey though. We also have one of the REI Flexlite...

    Utah Overland Trip (Moved Post)

David, just chiming in but check out WAM Bumpers in GA. They're making good looking front and rear bumpers with lots pf options for the XK at a reasonable price. Wilco Offroad also make a nice product called the Hitchgate. In regards to extra fuel, once you get that spare out from under the...

    SE Idaho/W Wyoming/SW Montana?

Hey there, I have lots of friends down in Logan and a bunch from Logan that live here now too. Nothing planned just yet. Mostly trying to see if there was any interest. I probably should've included northern Utah too. It would be great to get together and meet some fellow OB members. If a few...
