    Roof Rack Loading

Calculate the weight per Sq Ft of each item then work the best way to store you might find you need your tent at one end and the cot the other. My rear springs have a higher load than the front so I tend to put the heavier load at the rear of the rack. That said it doesn't look as if you are...

    Hannibal Vehicle Awnings

The no supporting poles/lines is interesting not sure in reality the difference in setup time as most awnings only take a few minutes to put out is that big a deal. There no pole/lines design does make them smaller than most awnings though the 2m one is only 1.7m deep and even the larger 2.5m...

    Hannibal Vehicle Awnings

Have seen the Spider at a number of shows and seen it being put out and during a multi day show. My thoughts it looks incredibly well built but very heavy and not particularly big (it looks tiny in comparison to a Foxwing) it also seemed to pool water which put me off.

    Trophies, Badges, and Ranks!

I live in England as well, yes fuel is expensive as it is all across Europe (even if your $7 calculation isn't right unless you are paying £1.48 per litre, remember US gallons are not the same as Imperial gallons). When I went to Texas last year it was a bit of a shock but a nice one basically...

    Name my Rig!

Not sure mine is weird as such but as it's a Cherokee and 4X4 we named it "Four Claws"

I went but wife wasn't feeling to well so left early. It's a good show but quite generic gearing to all forms of 4X4 there were some good Overlanding equipment vendors though so still spent way to much money in the hour I was there.

    Portable Fire Pits?

I use the Tentipi Hekla 30 it packs down very small 18 x 6.5 x 1.5 inches we also cut 2 branches to rest it on to reduce any damage to the ground.

I don't mind the long haul I mix it up sometimes I will stage and take the longer scenic route and others like this one I leave at night that is if they haven't closed the roads for maintenance. I also hate paying inflated service station prices so try to calculate what towns to pull into for...
