2006 Sport Edition 4WD. So far all I've done to it is put FJ springs and Bilstein 5100's at all four corners and added a nice head unit, so no build/adventure thread yet. Soon. I just ordered a set of White Knuckle sliders which will hopefully be ready for pick up soon . . .

Last purchase was my suspension, just Bilstein 5100's and FJ coils. For my needs, it's enough.
Next purchase will likely be sliders. But the list includes a RTT, roof rack, , new tires, compressor, and building a storage rack/compartment for the cargo area, so if any of those come up for sale...

This thread hits very close to home for me. I drive, a LOT, for work, sometimes have to drive clients and have a kid who plays volleyball that I get to drive everywhere and two large dogs (Ridgebacks) who need space too. Because of this, I can't really build my 4Runner into a full-out...
Just curious, why do you feel that is the case? I've always loved the look of the Defenders but can see Ezalis' friend's point as well. Some day, I will own a Land Rover . . .
