It's too bad you have to buy one version or the other. I use an iPhone most of the time and would like to have Gaia on there, but I'm using an Android tablet for navigating off road.
Any idea if Gaia will be doing a single purchase type deal?
Sounds like a good plan on both counts. Reset the Rover but have a back-up plan in place. Sounds like my last moto trip where I didn't know if the little bike would be ready in time. I gave myself a Sunday deadline and if it wasn't ready, it was going to be the big bike and no 4Runner...
Left Coast surfer here. Grew up surfing Bird Rock and PB as a kid. I've also surfed most of Baja. Now I just longboard.
Not nearly as good pictures as your dad's, but here's a couple my daughter took of me last week. (It was a small day)
Just a thought, perhaps stupid, but are you sure your temperature gauge is giving you accurate readings? Back when I was in high school, I had a 1976 VW Rabbit (don't judge). At one point I thought it was starting to overheat all the time and chased all the same symptoms you did. Turned out...
1Louder, any further info on when the new version for Android will be out? I really want to buy the app, but don't want to pay for the old version only to have to pay again for the new version a month or two later.
Thanks!
That looks like the exact same L-bracket I used for mine. Since I have a Sport Edition 4Runner (round tubes), I used U-bolts around the tubes. It works ok, but I'm not totally confident in it.
No worries, different strokes n all that. I just got tired of ghetto mounts not holding up off-road. I have a couple of friends that have the FourTreks and they are bomb-proof. Plus, Luke is a good guy and I like supporting his business.
I have a set of the ARB awning mounts that I'm not...
What vehicle are you putting it on? If you have tubular racks, you might want to check out FourTreks. I just ordered a set to replace my ghetto fan mounts.
Sent from my iPhone using OB Talk
Well, my purchasing celibacy didn't last long. Bought some FourTreks mounts for my awning. Looking at my ghetto mounts was getting old. Should be here Tuesday.
Next . . . no idea.
