On the mobile app I can change the number of posts visible per page. Is there a way to do that in the forums directly when viewing through a web browser?

I've had a bunch of requests for more posts per page. Can you tell me what it is that you actually don't like? Is it the physical act of scrolling as opposed to clicking the next page button? I want to understand both perspectives. It was 10 and I also felt that made it cumbersome to scroll through posts.I'll be honest, I personally hate having this many posts per page. I'd rather have to scroll through a little bit of content (or go back a page) to see what was posted since the last time I checked a thread instead of having to scroll a bunch.
What are the chances of getting the posts per page on user selection instead of global?

This.. I know it is on forums like PHPBB, but haven't been a forum admin for years now.. Would be a good thing to have people select it theirself.. People with smaller internet lines or something can put it on lower..Michael, is there a way to make it user selectable? I know it is on a few other forums I am on.

Was I tagged on that topic? I didn't see it.I would change it to 15 or 20 then if it isn't adjustable by the user. Some pic heavy topics (like all of them in the photo board) are a b*tch to load for people with low bandwith. seems like the best middle ground then.
btw, as I noticed (posted another topic about it) I've noticed a few more forum hickups as well past weekend.. No idea if they are related? I think loggings might show that? But If every user browsing the forums now load 30 posts full of pictures every time they open a topic instead of 10 posts of photo's maybe the forums slow down a bit due to that as well? Just a feeling based on nothing more what I've saw this past weekend..
