there are youtube videos about a guy doing that. Supposedly has a court order not to do so. Did this happen to you?

I traveled to this from Rome Ga because of your write up.
Actually I signed up with Trails Offroad to contribute for Georgia but sadly Georgia is not a very friendly off road state. So I haven't contributed anything. I end up going to Alabama or Tennessee.
Absolutely love your build! Very similar to where I am heading with my f250. Where are you putting your spare tire?

Great question. The DBBB is on my short list so let hu know how your trip goes with start stop and camp points. I am in Georgia so will be coming up from the south.

Me and the copilot are absolutely in! Look up Royal Blue, Windrock and Prentice Cooper. One of them may appeal.
BTW I went to school in Ft Worth and lived in Lewisville until 2012.

Welcome to Overland Bound! I live up in the Rome area. As another poster noted there is a lot you can do already....the adventure is what you take with you not what you drive. Glad you are here.
I made a note of the dates and put it on my calendar. When we get closer me and the copilot will see if we can put together an Overland Bound road trip!
Make sure to do Tray Mtn road, for a little lite "off road action"... and going east it is pretty. South of there is a German town helen that is a nice diversion. You can google the town and see it. It is not part of the traverse but Amicolola falls has a beautiful waterfall that you can...
Met with GaMtn80 and went up FS road 630 in GA a part of the Georgia Traverse to lake Conasuega. We are going to plan an overlanding trip covering all of the traverse that goes through the national forest. Good times.
