Worked on mounting my Tablet to my Magic Mount and then affixed a neonadium magnet to dash to hold my phone while the tablet uses the Magic Mount. Also relubed Freedom Top seals and took them off for afternoon.
Dale the Dog made sure everything went smooth and wasn't ruff.

I LOVE my Trasharoo and the company! I had a buckle break on the Roo and they sent me a replacement free of charge in a matter of days. I have used my Trasharoo for many trips and now, it's just a staple on my vehicle. I keep it attached all the time so I can throw trash/gear in the back...
Thank you for the catch. It is February, not March. 2/24/18.
@BSEKAMP I am not opposed to that idea, however, 99/Herndon seemed a good location as it's right by the highway and offers a variety of food options. I can keep that in mind for March.
We will meet at the Pieology in Fresno for a Meet and Greet (there are other food options close by if you wanna grab yours and then meet in Parking area to converse.)
The address for Pieology is: 6709 N Riverside Dr #103, Fresno, CA 93704
I will be there at Noon to get those who are attending...
Seems like Fresno worked well for everyone this month. We met near Pieology on Herndon/99 in the El Paseo Shopping Center. Lots of food and parking options.
I will post up an event in Rally Point. M
Central Cali Members? Are you interested in another (2nd) meet and greet on Saturday Feb. 24th? It's the first weekend date I have open, and is far enough out that most should be able to plan in advance.
Let me know, and I'll schedule a meet and greet in Rally Point too.
Thanks, Hope...
@DOMINICZ1 If you don't have GPS software to map it, use Google maps and map out the route you are describing. There are some stretches of travel you are talking about that are on road/off road, such as Badwater to Eureka Dunes and some, most of it is slow going at @ 30mph (more if you want to...
Meet and greet sounds good. I'll schedule one soon.
The secondary battery is just a plan for now though. Still planning it before I implement. I am not sure where and how all the parts will work for my application and use yet.

There is limited room under the JK hoods and a battery relocation tray is just too darn expensive at $250+.
The Deep cycle battery is a lead acid...
I'll check google for the diameter.
If there was ample room under the JK hood....I would for sure just go that route...but there is not that I...
I have a Jeep JK and am interested in putting in a second battery, an SLE Deep Cycle I have already from my camping trailer. I want to keep the costs economical on this project and am mainly just looking for some piece of mind of having a secondary source of power other than my starter battery...
Great review! Thanks for sharing!
My understanding is fires are not allowed in DV. Did you just have them, or was it actually OK in the areas you were in. Not instigating, but rather, gaining knowledge on the fire permissions in DV.
Also, great use of your Drone for perspective on Chicken...
I'm still flying a DJI Phantom 1.1.1 and enjoy every minute of it. I just installed a better Gimbal for my Gopro and fell in love with the thing over again. In fact, I am going to fly it when I get home from work today! haha
This just emailed to me: Meet the Mavic Air....

This question is location specific too. If you are in a place that has foods, services, fuel available within a 50 mile range, you would want to take maybe an extra 2 days food "just in case." Yet, if you were overlanding in an environment where it was challenging to get to the destination and...
We always say in Search and Rescue... "You can go alone, as long as you take someone else with you."
Having a second person (co-pilot) is good, but having a second rig is better and having multiple rigs together in a group is best. I see some who want to go it alone, but in terms of medical...
