I have gotten some this morning/mid morning. I'm not really upset, it's actually making me feel kinda cool, like all these emails and responses I'm getting. LMAO @Michael @Chris Jones Thanks for looking into it.
It's time to plan my "Spring Break Non-sanctioned Overland Bound, Overland Bound trip" with Overland Bound Members. This year, it seems that Mojave Road has spurred my interest and others who went to Death Valley for Spring Break this year.
So, I'm putting out the call to those who went this...
HA! Serious! I must have missed you. I was getting my Technician. I have always used HAM, but under the pretenses of Search and Rescue. I needed to get my license. Looking forward to getting my ID soon. Sorry I missed you!
That may be a doable trip per Google maps (or Gaia) in that time frame, and in all honesty, you can do that trek in a day, but given how rough Racetrack Road is and stopping to enjoy some of the scenery, you are pushing the clock. Perhaps slow it down a bit and drive from Vegas to Racetrack...
I'm willing to organize too if needed.
Maybe we can meet in Clovis at BC's Pizza and Beer? Or have El Gordos Hotdogs bring his truck! [emoji6][emoji846]
Got it, Thank you. I'm pretty sure we will be over 7 rigs and over 25 participants...

@Boulder Burt

@Vitaliy
Haven't heard from the above group, hope some/all can make it.
I know it's several months away before the Mojave Trail event, but I'm going to create a Rally Point Event soon for the dates.
Thanks

Yes, it was worth it! It's pretty big and a lot of exhibits, prizes, give-aways, and.....stickers. I spent about 4 hrs there today and moved pretty fast through the show so I could head back to Cencal at a reasonable time. Go check it out!
I'm in the area for a conference and am going to stop by Saturday afternoon. My time will be brief at the show, so I plan to mainly hit booths and not the exhibits per se. Anyone else been or going? Any thing specific worth seeing?
Hopefully they got stickers!
Good on you Brother! Red lake is a tough trail and to get your rig in as far as you did is good stuff.
West Lake trail is a nice one, and I'm not sure if you made it to Strawberry Lake, but that trail has been eaten up over the years and the tree squeeze are getting tighter every year. Most...
I stopped shopping at REI a few years back when they started getting too damn political in their advertising and social media. Sell me a flashlight, but keep your views to yourself (they were bashing the current administration on some sort of global ecosystem agreement, I don't even know or care...
No, I'm planning it for April 14th through that Thursday/Friday the 19th, so I hope you both can make it! Also, I hope you both are doing well! Grant and Noah still talk about how nice you both were and Kris walking Noah down into Ubehebe Crater!
Also, if you still have the trailer, it would...
