There are a LOT of dispersed camping spots along dinkey creek road to the East of Shaver Lake. Also, there is dry camping along rock creek road, and also near dinkey creek proper. There may be snow, so plan accordingly, or call the Forest Service prior to your departure. I really like the area...

I live in Fresno County. Bald Mt area just got hammered with snow. The trail will probably not open till May/June now. There is ample campgrounds near Bald, Dinkey Creek, Camp Edison, and some other smaller designated sites. I would warn though the campgrounds are often packed with party'ers...

Hey all! I am wanting to get the small OB mini-banner to affix to my CB Antenna for the OB Member run to Death Valley. Question for those who have it, or @Michael ; will the flag stand the wind/weather of being flown (albeit for a week or more) from my Antenna? Is the fabric/grommets strong...

@RobRed I have already sent those attending a detailed itinerary, GPX route, waypoints and information. I know running a large group will require a strict timeline to get all the stops, sights and locations in safely. We will be as high speed, low drag as possible, but also with the expectation...
