Found a great youtube channel for those just getting started in NC. I have no affiliation AT ALL with this channel but just stumbled across it last week. For anyone who is in NC and wants to get a better idea of some places out there and what some trails are like its a pretty good resource...
Looks great! Jealous of your area! My dad lives over in Surprise, AZ. Went out to visit him for a few days and was dying to go off exploring. So much more space out west for getting out there. Got to wander a bit on foot in Tanto National Forest.
Well i've been away from the forums for a bit but traded in My 2010 Subaru Outback for what i really wanted (and could afford, lol). 2013 F150 FX4. Upgrading the suspension in the spring with a full King setup underneath. Stoked to get it out on some fire roads and explore some more in...

Duluth Trading Company has a decent product I think. Their running a 20% off site wide through this weekend I think and free shipping on $75 or more. I can't speak to that product but everything else I buy from them has been top notch quality

The mount to the car part is where i'm struggling right now as well. Quick Fist clamps and a PVC pipe are where i'm leaning right now. I have the clamps mounted to my roof basket but the PVC pipe is a little to flexible. I'm going to drop a dowel rod or some EMT conduit inside it to hopefully...
I'm actually in the middle of quasi making one out of a Neso tent. Still working out the attachment point but i think i will have it squared away by the end of this weekend.
That's kind of my thought, just do the ring terminals off the battery. just debating on a plug type. I like the NOCO X-Connect but they only make they only make them with a 10 amp fuse, I'm thinking a simple swap out to a higher amp fuse should be fine though. It is only 16awg though as well...
