I got my arb 2500 awning on amazon prime for $299 and free shipping. It's worked out great, it's stood up to some pretty strong wind. I'm considering getting snap in room for it. I like the looks of the foxwing and batwing awnings but they are pretty spendy.

TJM 2.5 meter awning has worked great for me and been up in 40 to 45 mile an hour winds in the desert, After looking at the arb 2500 new "add on tent/screened room" at overland last May I may move over to the arb 2500 awning as the TJM one is not 8ft wide to fit the arb tent to.
If you have BIG bucks and want to go all out the ALU-Cab 270 shadow is really nice but very pricey at $1495 - but erects in less then a minute and requires no poles to stand. TJM awning is on the passenger side.

I have a foxwing on my GU patrol, and am getting one for my Dualcab landcruiser. They are awesome if you ask me and I have had one for going on 6 years or more and only had to replace the outer bag as it deteriorated, it was a canvas / polyester blend I think but now is a PVC product which is very strong. These bags are very easy to replace.

I'm actually in the middle of quasi making one out of a Neso tent. Still working out the attachment point but i think i will have it squared away by the end of this weekend.
