I have never seen any signs but the traffic would deter me. You also have to keep your rig on the road. The tundra is very fragile.

I would not want to try and bring a full size PU up mineral creek. Some of that trail can be a challenge in a 4 door jeep.

My wife and I will be coming. We will be in a 2014 Jeep wrangler, pulling a M416 with a RTT on in. Looking forward to meeting everyone. We will be coming from Pagosa Springs, our summer hang out.

Would getting an m416 trailer to base camp be possible? I would be pulling it behing my jeep. I did a large portion of the NMBDR with this set up.

It will be really hot in the summer.

When and where is the meeting this weekend? I would be interested in the group camping depending on what weekend.

great side trip, go to Crede,Co and go up to the reservoir and take the road all the way to Silverton. From Silverton you can take the 550 right into Ouray, The re is many places to camp on that road. It is a great2 day one night trip but can be driven in a day if you want. Enjoy, Ouray is...

I too recommend the falcon shocks. They adjust for all conditions. I would also say take a look at the Teraflex 3" outback lift system. It is designed for heavy rigs/towing. I have had it on 2 jeeps now and lover the system. It is very nice on trails when loaded.

If your up to braving the cold water, go to Sliderock State park and enjoy the natural waterslide on the North end of Sedona.

The scenery in Sedona is awesome nut can be crowded.

Interesting. I have been trying to come up with something like this for my M416 trailer but I need it to go up and down. Hoping your build will give me some ideas.

A friend and I did the first 5 dections during covid. I pulled a M416 trailer with no problems. I would be up to running this again.

Do these have to run off of a battery or can they be plugged into an outlet?

Did you get this heater? I am leaning towards this one to heat my shop in winter as well as use for camping. What are your thoughts? Thanks, Joel

I bought a cast iron one on amazon that is 17". It works for 2 but would be tuff to cook for more than that. I would try and find a way to keep the big boy if you can. It is a great piece to have in your kit.

Find something to put it in and strap it to your spare.
