Go to the Overland Bound meet up at the Pleasanton Ridge parking lot this Sunday at 1. The entire parking lot is dirt… You’ll also meet some great people!
The Singing Kelso Sand Dunes were my kids favorite camping spot.. We spent hours climbing the dunes and jumping off the crests landing 10 to 15 feet downslope… The resulting sand slide would then make the most haunting sound as the sand particles rubbed against each other. My very difficult to...
Life long East Bay... Born in Oakland, grew up in San Leandro and now live in Castro Valley. We've been meeting with the Tri-Valley Group the second Sunday of the month in Pleasanton.
Just returned from a 2000 mile trip up to the PNW. We did some fun hiking in and around Mt. Rainer.
My wife Jenifer and I will be going and take the rebuilt LX 470 on its maiden voyage. I’ve been to Bodie many times… it’s a photographer’s paradise. The last time I drove the canyon route was with my old FJ55 many decades ago… Guess I gotta get the HAM radio…
COLDCUT, we stayed up in the Bay Area... We made a last minute decision to abide by the stay-at-home order when it was extended. I'll head down once the ban is eased... I'm so glad you were able to get away and enjoy Death Valley!
Welcome aboard! I'm over in Castro Valley and working on a new-to-me 2006 Lexus LX470... There will be an East Bay meet-up this Sunday at Pleasanton Ridge from 1 PM until 3 PM... Bring your chair(s) and lunch... US West - Tri-Valley Monthly Meet Up- Pleasanton CA

I’m quite happy running Continental Terrain Contact A/Ts on my 2014 Forester Limitied. I run size 225/60R17 with no problems.. They performed flawlessly on the notorious rocky tire-eating road out to the Racetrack and back in Death Valley.
Don’t laugh... try a new Subaru Forester! I’m 6’2 and 270 lbs. and I fit great in my 2014. I finally found a vehicle with plenty of head and shoulder room. And you get around 30 mpg which will help on your daily 100 mile commute. As for over landing, most forest roads are no problem And you can...
Just thought I’d post a few photos of my 2014 Forester Limited. Running 225/60 R17 Continental Terrain Contact AT tires... takes me almost everywhere I want to go.o
