    Something Weird in the Forest

Thank you for the in-faith response. The situation is much like the Good Samaritan. But "Who is my neighbor?"

    Something Weird in the Forest

Forest RD was narrow even for my Colorado. 4-point turn minimally. In that, he would have had 3 minutes to charge if he decided to.

    Something Weird in the Forest

Hey guys, I know that I might be overreacting here, but something recently happened over the summertime in an NM forest. I had to write about it to make sense. But if you were ever in a situation, in the bush or other, would you protect your family to the full degree? See my post here and tell...

    It's Grand all right

While overlanding in AZ, we had to stop at the Grand Canyon. Although at the South Rim where more of the touristy go, it was still GRAND. Let me know if you have any special spots where boondocking is allowed. For now, enjoy the pics and tips: 8th Wonder of the World

Photos are great, I like the one to the left for sure. But don't know if I could muster the courage to get into one of those. :)

    Exploring campsite near volcanos

If you keep exploring, you will find things that never would have come across your path. Whether about camping or vehicle-dependent exploration, keep on truckin'. Cinders as a terrain? I never would have thought it! But it does exist and we found ourselves stuck. Another wonder point...

Thank you for the reply. If we consider the common definition of Geocaching, "outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", at specific...

    Geocaching Campsite

Recently, I was hiking in the Petrified Forest. Noticed it got late for a comfortable camp setup. So, I geocache a basecamp. Found it off-road, but not before some beautiful driving in the desert. View here and let me know what you think: Ranger Cabin T

    How the West won me.

It's true, some environments are worthy of the off-road expedition and time and talent it takes to get there. For me, NM and AZ were NOT those places. But I was wrong. See this: Beautiful West Thanks, T

    Outdoor Cargo Net

Military-grade straps, does not flap, weather tested as it's coated, and accident load rated. Oh, I have never had a theft attempt, as you watched, when it's strapped on, it's blended onto the truck. As a result, looks too complicated to deal with.

    Outdoor Cargo Net

No, not sponsored. No, not advertising, and no shame as the content is for those who seek experiential options.

    Outdoor Cargo Net

FOUND! To secure, fasten, and hold outdoor gear in a truck while overlanding is a must. I found my cargo net!
