I was going to and go back to a truck I use to own but I just like this truck a lot and couldn’t part ways with it . May be camper v2.0 in the works soon
Oh man life has been a bit overwhelming, work has been crazy I moved and had to do some big downsizing but it will be worth it in the end . Did manage to get some new shoes for the frontier went with a Yokohama geolander in a 315/75r16 . They are actually pretty skinny for a 35 and only ended up...
No 3.4 Toyota get 20 mpg once you put any sort of lift and tires on one it will get 12-15 . Most smaller rigs suffer on mpgs in the real world . Also take into account the cost of buying and setting up a new rig to save a few mpgs vs using what you have .
Super overloaded with work ( floral industry) and having to move has taken up all my free time but had a little down time between trucks and attempted to do a little shining on the paint and pull the hood and front fender straight . Truck had a ton of moss growing on one side of and it must have...
I’ve had one for 10 years now and it still works , takes a while to fill a 35 but it works . Make sure you leave the rig running when using it and also turn it on before you hook it to the tire . If you don’t it will overload the motor and pop a fuse . I have since switch to the Smitty built air...
Finally got around to refreshing the front end and I’m surprised this thing didn’t fall apart driving down the road. I’ve never seen a ball joint sheer off the bottom.
Recent snow/ice storm delayed parts so got the 270 awning mocked up . Need to make some plates inside and out to take up the load and maybe lower it another 1/2 inch so it’s just right on top of the canopy hatch
It’s like a sad broken record of me getting a rig and saying I’m gonna keep it . Hopefully this one will stick .
this is actually the second time I’ve owned this truck bought it from the original owner like 15 years ago , had it for a couple years before giving it to my dad so he had reliable...
Make sure to get a good brand and install them correctly
Bolt them on to spec with a torque wrench
Drive 50-100 miles
Take them back off and reinstall add just a tiny dab of locktite on you factory studs not the spacer stud and re torque to spec.
Most failures you see because people don’t...
