Also I think we need to start flattening the fear here. Wear a N95 mask when close to people. Don't let them breathe on you. Don't touch them. Wash your hands before touching your face if you touch anything in public. I mean just practice common sense and live your life.
Paying so much for pants is just throwing money away IMO. These do the same thing for a fraction of the price. YMMV

Pretty sure the Gladiators tow rating is the best in class. So it was designed just fine for midsize truck duties. Teslas cybertruck is a fantasy at this point and not in production. Also if it ever comes out, it better blow all trucks out of the water for a price of $100,000+
Proven solution is to avoid that type of weather.. An in my not so expert opinion I would think the vehicle would take way more damage than any RTT.
Bundutec is merely one good brand in a sea of good brands. As @diabetiktaco said, you have to nail down a few decisions before even looking, the options are just too great not to. Listen to his advice.
It's probably the only RTT I would own. I never owned the "traditional" RTT, this is my first and hopefully last RTT. If I ever get rid of this thing I will go back to a ground tent or sleep in the bed of the truck. I specifically bought a clam shell because the other designs look to be a...
I love mine but rarely take it with me camping anymore. I need to change that but it's kind of a pain to transport around for the off occasion I would use it. Once I got the Snow Peak panini maker or whatever it is called, that's what I mainly use now. An then just pan fry the steaks if I...
Yep it makes a huge difference to me. This is primarily why I chose the tent I did, 15-20 second setup and take down matters, especially the older I get. Along with park the vehicle and sleep just about anywhere. Also for those who think going to the bathroom is a pain, if you own a RTT and...
Great build! An you went all in on the rear but just so you know I believe you can fit that tire underneath. You have to cut off the factory "wings" that somewhat hold the stock tire in place. Anyway none of that matters now. :grinning: Look forward to more of this amazing build.
Nice job! I used bed liner out of a spray can for a similar project on birch and it has held up well. It was a Rustoleum product. Of course it isn't tacky like carpet would be but I screwed on some L track and tie every thing down.
Smart move choosing to re-gear, you are going to love it. That said, I love pizza cutters and tend to choose them over fatter tires. They just function and perform better. I have the AT3W's now on my vehicle and they are a heavy tire. I had BFG's on the previous vehicle and didn't have this...
Your First problem - I modified my suspension to compensate for the weight being on top of the vehicle and it handled better than stock even off road. Maybe you need slightly stiffer springs?
For your second problem, it looks like you only had to move over about two feet and that slope...
