The bolt spacing on the two couplers is industry standard, not just a HF thing. I discovered the same thing when I bought a new coupler for the teardrop.
In addition to the tires, I also upgraded to a 3500# axle to get larger diameter bearings. I feel much better about going over 65 now.
The route is short enough you can make a leisurely day of it. Most who camp will do that at Oxford Ranch, the same place as the Avid Outdoors event coming up.

I’ve recently gotten one of these devices, to use in thethirdtwin. Today I put in the canned Tow and transmission tunes. I also bumped up the throttle response and disabled the AFM/DOD. It drove quite nicely today.
