A real bonafide WATER CROSSING. Was it a area, or fording spot you were previously aware of? By that, I mean did anyone go out there and do the WALK, to check the depth before crossing. From the pictures, it looks like it was just above hub depth/ maybe wheel upper wheel rim deep.

Where was this at? Out West, they tend to be Narrow, but can be deep or shallow, so no assumptions can be made on how deep, unless your familiar with the crossing.

It was about 6" deep all the way through. The water is clear enough that we drove the first vehicle slowly across to check it.
