I am looking at possible trying to get my Wilderness First Responder Cert done but I was wondering if anyone has ever done this? NOLS has a 10 day course that seems pretty cool.

Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I am looking at doing this as well here in Oregon, our course is shorter than that though. Wonder if there are different levels of certs?

WFR Cert here! I did mine through wilderness medical associates. (WMA) - mine was 8 days for 80 hours. I've only "used" my cert in the real world, for severe hypothermia. TOTALLY worth it if you adventure out a lot.
