I think we should plan for a centralized location for the Colorado meetup hopefully somewhere none of us has been before. That's my idea; I am willing to do the research into where we are all at so that way we can figure it out.

Its not an planned event... YET!

Technically, Hartsel is the Geographical center of CO(30.5mi from Leadville) but there isnt an abundance of trails there. We could do Buena Vista if people would prefer. Theres a lot of camping options there too.

We could ignore everything east of I-25 and meet in Glenwood Springs.... No one counts Eastern Colorado anyway. :tearsofjoy:

We just bought property in Westcliffe, we plan on spending the summer exploring the area in our power wagon.

Awesome we have a family ranch near there, beautiful area, and good terrain for camping.

Hi, I live in Colorado but I am looking at working a contract in Phoenix for a year or so. I have been wheeling (rock crawling/expeditions) for over 40 years, having grown up in the mountains of Colorado on our ranch at Walden.

My rig is a 1985 Jeep Cherokee on 35's, locked Dana 44s front and rear, powered by a 4.7L stroker. For expeditions I pull a custom offroad teardrop I designed and fabricated.

I'm brand new to CO. In fact so new I'll be camping and traveling the west until Dec. 1 when I land at our new home in Fort Collins, CO. I'd love to meet up with people when possible.
