Hello folks,

Due Corona/Covid-19 we are adviced not to go abroad. So, we dont, but we are still trying to have some fun here in the Netherlands.
And yes, that is still a beautiful country, but it is just a bit small.
So, these following two weeks we are exploring it to the fullest. From musea to touristic places, and trying to find every remote corner of it.
So this weekend we had our first two trips. The very famous war museum in Overloon and a nice scenic trip along one of our rivers.
I hope you like the pictures.

This museum is dedicated to the liberation of the Netherlands during WW2.
Very impressive.

The next day we had a little tour and visited some old ruins and also one lock complex.
We dutchies are masters of the water, so, it is impressive to see how we let the water do the heavy lifting of our ships.

When we tried to find a castle, it turned out that we just found a gate, all that was more or less left of it.

So, today at home waiting for some news about a new tire, but then we will go out again and explore.

Awesome pics. Love the WWII stuff. There's so little of it here in the US for obvious reasons. You should post more pics up.

Lucky you. Here in Germany all institutions and facilities that can be assigned to leisure activities are closed. Accommodation is only allowed for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes. And much more rules...

Enjoy your trip!

I like the KJ and timely pics of WWII remembrance. Much fondness for Jeep in Europe with the association of liberty from tyranny.

I have the same idea once we are released from lockdown in Wales. A grand tour of green lanes and historical sites if we get cool crisp high pressure.

Robert - I'm very interested in how you built and mounted your rack for the Liberty. Can you post pics or details?
