What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I'm at the point where I WANT to do something to my rig today but I can't think of anything I NEED to do. I even pereused the Quadretec online catalog to see if there was any "overland-cool" gear I wanted to order...nada. I would like to eventually install a in-vehicle intercom radio to make it easier to communicate, especially with the top off, but my wife thinks that's silly. I guess I will just have to be silly.

I picked up a new to me Thule Cargo box, free from my inlaws. I used to scoff at people that needed these on top of a suv just to go camping. I couldn't imagine needing that much stuff. Fast forward and adding a few dogs and a couple of kids to the rig and I get it. Just mounted in on the wife's Chevy Traverse for, this weekends trip and loaded up all of our gear. I'm not sure how we ever managed without it. Pictured on my Jeep. Doesn't look bad for being 20 years old and free.
