My powdercoater has been busy. My Fourtreks mounts came back and the wrinkle black I love so much perfectly matches the Loadwarrior.. not that I really cared about that haha. My ARB awning came today so I of course I had to throw it on immediately.

It's been a long time coming but I finally got me a rear bumper and carrier.
Slee Off- Road makes some of the best equipment around for Land Cruisers and their rear bumper is a classic example of what an overland bumper should be. Overbuilt is an understatement. Just the bag of bolts and brackets was 50 lbs! The bumper without spare tire or jerry cans weighs out to 275 lbs. Full protection from anything on the trail, rocks and lame drivers not paying attention. Stoked! Needless to say, I'm waiting on extra heavy OLd Man Emu coils in the rear.

I installed a Turtleback trailer kitchen cabinet in my DIY trailer. I already had the kitchen hardware but not the cabinet. New and better slide rails were added along with a better drain system for the sink. Nice to have a couple of drawers and a professional look. I just need to clean up the back panel and give the stove a good cleaning so it looks as nice as the cabinet.
Next project is to install my ARB on board air compressor. My ViaAir died after 3 years so I decided to spend more money I don't have on a nicer setup. I'm debating about doing the traditional engine area install or putting in the back of my FJ where is would be relatively dust free.

Nothing fancy here, but finally finished the front bumper by installing the lower skid plate that was on back order.

Assume! While out is a tiny bit "fun", the blade is all business. I didn't appreciate exactly how much until i was out and needed to "dig a hole" (another thread on this topic elsewhere ;-) and the strong teeth made it possible. There is also a cool hack that uses a wire lock, like a gun" lock, to secure to your rack through the hole for the d-pin ;-). Enjoy!

Gotta love the #murderspork! I'm already using a cable lock for it but haven't come up with a plan to secure the Pulaski yet. Part of the reason is because I haven't finalized how I want the tool mounts oriented which affects the direction I'll have the axe/shovel.

They are 245/65 17. Definitely not super aggressive or even as aggressive as their LT counterparts but it's been getting favorable reviews in the toughness and traction categories. All while still being well mannered on road and quiet for an AT tire.

Why not the AT/S? Mine were as quiet as the OEM Bridgestones.

They look the goods....i would be happy with that....here, restrictions on tyre size, rim size etc is extreme...and few companies make them on the smaller sizes 15' etc...best i found has been the Achilles X-grip
