My XJ is under the knife today... Having the rear axle rebuilt (all the seals and bearings) hopefully they finish it today.

Haven't done much lately to my rig. But this past weekend I got under there and disconnected my sway bar. I plan on getting quick disconnects in the future but for now the ride isn't as bad as j thought it was going to be.. Next up is having a buddy do my timeing belt, water pump, thermostat. Radiator flush and hoses! Trying to get her ready for the summertime!

Did I forget to mention I can offer family and friends my employee discount when buying a new Subaru?

I know we just met but you seem like a cool guy! Lets be friends! :)

We should have the car in our possession either tomorrow evening or saturday.

Ewww... that sucks.. I just had my rear end rebuilt, luckily only needed seals and bearings, no gears or anything.
Yeah it definitely sucks. Luckily was able to drive home in 4 hi locked but it's been parked since Saturday. Considering options on how to beef it up. Second front diff I have blown, luckily the first was covered under warranty.

Is it the aluminum one or the cast iron diff

Are those a solid front axle or IFS? Just curious since I don't know much about Hummers..

IFS but I've seen a few people do should axle swaps on them

Ah, gotcha... I had a S10 Blazer and it was IFS with torsion bar suspension, a lot of guys convert them over to solid front axles.

Fiance built a bed platform in the back and sealed the tailgate from dust, she is awesome. Oh, and I modified the rear passenger seat area to carry the drone and camera gear more securely.
