We are continuing our drive around the world in our Jeep Gladiator.

Next Sunday if all goes well we will be visiting Machu Picchu. So we decided to post the next video in our overlanding adventure around the world today.

In this video we visit Arequipa, Peru considered by many to be the jewel of the country. Here we'll take you into the magnificent cathedral and into the world famous monastery of Santa Catalina which was founded in 1580 and is STILL in use today! It is something spectacular. I spent hours in this place that covers 6 square city blocks.

We also take our Jeep "DAUNTLESS" to the highest elevation we've ever been in a vehicle and the views are simply dramatic.

So grab your favorite beverate and hop in with us as we continue the drive around the world.

Here for any questions y'all may have. ~ Eric

We are continuing our overlanding journey around the world in our Jeep Gladiator. Can you believe we drove from the USA to the cradle of the Incan Empire in Cusco, Peru? Sometimes it still hits us that we're all the way down here.

In this video we'll take you all over Cusco and show you some of the incredible ruins that are located here and so much more.

So grab your favorite beverage and hop in with us as we continue this global journey.

As always, feel free to hit us with any questions about overlanding, international overlanding, full-time overlanding, overlanding with kids, or whatever. We're happy to be a resource.

I still can't believe we made it to Machu Picchu, one of the 7 Wonders of the World!

We straight up drove our Jeep Gladiator to the doorstep of these amazing Incan ruins in Peru.

In this video we take you on a first person POV journey with us, so grab your favorite beverage and check it out with us.

This was pretty incredible, and one of the highlights of our global overlanding journey so far. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to field them.

We made it to Argentina!

We crossed the border between Santiago, Chile and Mendoza, Argentina on April 3rd. Mistakes were made.

In this video we do our best to keep it real and raw about the kinds of challenges that we face on this journey.

Also we just flew back to the USA to attend and speak at Overland Expo West 2024. So if you are going to the event, please let us know. We'd love to connect!

We left our Jeep Gladiator in Mendoza, Argentina and were invited to fly back and present at Overland Expo West 2024. So we get in some Trail running in Moab, Caspian drives for the very first time, and we head out to Expo.

We also get nostalgic in this video and take you back a few years to how we got into overlanding. But the best part of this episode is introducing you to our family and friends.

This is what life looks like for us stateside.

We fly back to Argentina to continue our drive around the world in July. Come spend some time with us in the States.

As always, happy to answer any questions from folks who are considering long-term or international overlanding. ~ Eric

Doh! I was walking all around there, sorry I missed you guys! Would have loved to meet. Did get to meet a few other folks, Taking The Truck, saw Dan Grec's builder Wa-sabi campers, etc.

I missed that last sentence on early may post above, saying you'd be there, then these last 2 posts were too late :(

Hey Dave! No worries, it was a huge and busy show. Hopefully you enjoyed it as much as we did. Wasabi was definitely a highlight. We got to share some time with the builder at the show and he's absolutely fascinating. We're still in the States until July 10th when we fly back to Argentina to continue the journey. Right now in CA spending time with family. We'll cover that in our next video. Appreciate you being part of our community. ~ Eric

Believe it or not we DID SEE A UFO. And we captured it on video!

That and so much more in this latest episode on our drive around the world. Currently we are back in the USA visiting family and friends and this is NECESSARY for our ability to make our drive around the world. A global overlanding journey is HARD. The hardest part is missing our family and friends, so in this video we give you an intimate look at what our life looks like in the States with those closest to us. It is a very special video for us, and we hope you enjoy it as well. ~ Eric

One of the most frequent questions we get asked is, "How do you educate your 7 year old as full-time overlanders who are driving around the world?"

In this video we give you a glimpse of what that looks like. Keep in mind that in this video we've returned to the USA for 2.5 months. So we're not in our global rig, our Jeep Gladiator. Instead we're in our North American rig, our Jeep Wrangler that we keep parked here for trips home when we visit family and friends.

Our overlanding journey around the world continues. It has been a bit since we posted a video and there are reasons for this.

The main reason was Brittany's surgery which took place in Mendoza, Argentina right after we got back to South America. She's been recovering well. Thank you to those who have asked.

This video shares the challenges of getting back to South America, and being reunited with our rig. We also get to meet a couple of our overlanding heroes in this video so that makes it extra special for us.

Hope you enjoy and as always, I'm available for any questions from folks on the journey!

Hi Eric

Had to pass on what an epic adventure you and your young family have been passing along here for all to follow and be inspired by.

Although it amazes me that a simple roofrack install will get far more likes and comments than the amazing glimpse you convey with your videos...completely boggles me.

Anyways...thanks for doing what you do and giving everyone a peek. Please post pics along with your videos as some of us cannot access the video platform(s) due to country restrictions.

Cheers

Appreciate that kind word about our videos Sea Diamond. Being that folks use YouTube primarily as a search engine, I completely understand why those videos get more views. Believe me, if we were just looking for views, it would be relatively "easy" to get them considering all the overlanding gear we use on a daily basis on our global journey. We could just make review and recommendation videos, optimize them for the masses and watch the views increase. But that's not what we're about. We want to share the journey, and if only a handful of people watch them, that's ok. Ultimately they our out there, mostly for our son to look back on someday. At least that is my hope. We have developed a small but consistent community on YouTube that watches and comments on nearly every video. So that is nice too, because on a journey like ours, one thing that is lacking is consistent community. With that said, I'm sorry you are having troubles accessing our video content. It is too cumbersome for us to upload photos of every place we see as we are moving nearly daily and there are so many. So I don't see us doing that. However, my wife does share photos (or stories rather) on our Instagram, and recently we've started posting to our TikTok which we hadn't for over 2 years. Social is fun, but we don't make it a major priority. Just trying to share as we can. Super thankful for your comment, and hopefully you'll be able to access the video content at some point. There is SO much to see. ~ Eric

I couldn't believe they straight up handed me Brittany's uterus! I was a bit taken back to say the least.

In this video, we've arrived back in Mendoza, Argentina and we pick up DAUNTLESS our trusty steed.

From there we get settled and ready for Brittany's surgery. We talk all about what it is like to have a surgery in a foreign country, and the challenges that come with getting a vehicle ready for a transcontinental trip.

So much in this video.

As always, I'm here for any questions.

Northeastern Argentina is a remote area that is seldomly visited by those who overland the Pan American highway as it is on the other side of the continent.

But we had heard so much about the area, we decided we had to see it for ourselves.

In this video we take our Jeep Gladiator to a remote national park in far northeastern Argentina and are amazed that we actually drove to where capybara live. This section of our journey which took place in September 2024 was pretty incredible.

Hope you enjoy the video, and let me know if you have any questions. ~ Eric
