Its not made by Warn, it is compared to Warn's Zeon 12s by Harbor Frieght.
Just remember, Warn stocks all the common repair parts for ALL of their winches and have a 7 year waranty, HF does not stock parts and only offers a 90 limmited warranty. in other words, if your control box burns out on your first time needing the winch, but it took you 91 days before you needed said winch, you would have to buy a new control box and wiat for the next slow boat from China to receive the part. On the otherhand your Warn winch sat on the shelf for 2 years before you put it on your rig, then another 2 years and 50 pulls later the control box goes bad, and by the end of the fallowing week you would have a free replacement in your hands.
Just something to think about.
