Volvo XC70 2011 overland build

Hello, new member from Sweden. I’ll share my XC70 adventure overland build here. It’s a MY11 D5 Polestar with 30mm lift in the front and 40mm in the rear. Riding on 255/60R17 Continental CrossContact ATR tires adding a total of 50-60mm of clearance. Roof platform from Tola Roof Racks fitted and waiting to mount a good LED-bar on the roof rack.

Thanks! I got the kit from Tema 4x4 on ebay. The kit gives 30mm lift and I added a home made 10mm rubber spacer in the rear to level the car.

Thanks! I got the reverse lights wired today and only miss the button and signal cable for the front bar.

Lots of adventures planned but no build plans. I quite like it the way it is and in the UK all I really need is decent snow tyres for winter adventures in the Scottish Highlands and Islands and I’m good to go.

Hey another Volvo build! Love seeing more of these XC70's! Super jealous of the polestar to. Found out after buying my 05 I was one year too soon to get the tune. Sweet rig man cant wait to see where you take it.

Decided to throw out the emergency spare wheel and added a small compressor. Full size spare planned for the future, just not sure where to place it at the moment.

Like Volvo but they don't do any more 4x4 ? But I love this cars , one of best in term something different.

Anyone have any experience manufacturing better recovery points for the Volvo XC, or any other vehicle with limited after market support?
