Using Support Alerts

Hello all, new member here. Can someone explain how I can send member support alert through my Garmin when I'm out of cell range?

Hi there, I’m a new member as well. Cruising the forums leaning information that will be usable for my interior build out for simple adventures.

I’m surprised none of the veteran members have responded to this because I would be curious as well. I will follow and maybe someone will help. Unless you already received the answer, in which case could you please share so I can learn as well.

Not sure how to do it via Garmin, it can be done thru the App........

I am not aware that it could work via the inReach. These are two different animals.

In the OB1 App you will find the function to create a support alert. You might want to checkout out this rescue story. It shows well how excellent this functionality of the OB1 App works and how the function is intended to be used.
