Expedition Master III
Put here under...GENERAL vs RIG. As this is not a build or trailer question.
For those OB members who have a 4 Runner 2010-2016, how many of you have had your recalled TAKATA air bag equipped rig in to have the recall done? Did you receive a official notice, or did you research the recall yourself? From what I understand the above years are what is now on the recall list. For my family, the Highlander we own (2010) has so far stayed off the Toyota list, unlike other models.
You used to hear of serious injuries happening...eye and facial, now the incidents of death, have begun to rise from neck shrapnel to people on it's deployment. So has the news of what the recall is about, made you seek the replacement fix, or waiting for your turn in the recall Que, or are you rolling the dice, that it won't happen to you?
Being a off-road type vehicle, for OB members, the chance of a accidental deployment is higher than strictly on-road vehicles. Due to more environmental possibilities when traveling.
