I don't think I started it, but from what the reports have said it started right around where I passed through on Friday. The grass and under brush in the area is super dry so I was pretty careful to stay on the road/trail. I did however get stuck behind some dumbass that was flicking the ash from his cigar out the window as I first got onto the FS roads, wouldn't surprise me if he did something else stupid that started it...Did you start the Evans canyon fire? I should have went with you. I haven't gotten much done on my projects due to the heavy smoke and ash coming down. Here are some photos from my house around 6 PM last night.I don't think I started it, but from what the reports have said it started right around where I passed through on Friday. I just ran that area a few weeks ago with only the bikini top. The YJ is still full of dirt. One long section of Kendall Skyline was just powder.Yep, Last time I was in the blues, I had the soft top on the jeep and had to take it through a touchless car wash to get all of the dust out of the fabric.

I can’t even imagine being behind someone in that, much less in an open YJ. You’d need a full respirator just to breath back there. My bed is full of dirt/silt from it. Hopefully you were being a little willing to wait for it to settle. I hit several of those stretches and it looked like the ground exploded under me.I just ran that area a few weeks ago with only the bikini top. The YJ is still full of dirt.
