I’m new here. I don’t have much experience over landing. Such as finding trails and places to go. I do have a lot of experience building rigs. I want to introduce my family to the outdoor experience. I have a few rigs. “74 VW westy with 4” lift. ‘82 stock Bronco, ‘62 Willys wagon, and a 2004 triumph tiger built for over landing. Now just where to go and meet other overlanders. I’m out of Lubbock, Texas. We spend the majority of our summers in Colorado and New Mexico. Any advice on places to take the family that will get them excited about overlanding. Hope to meet some of the members in my area! Thanks again! RichardIMG_0177.JPG

Here’s the Bronco. Plan to take it up to South Fork, Colorado this summer. Where should I go? Trails near by?
I haven't been here long but welcome! There's a trail that I've looked at that will take you from South Fork, past the golf course and eventually end up near Wheeler Geological Area. You could come back down a different way and come out close to Crede, CO.

That sounds like a good one, I’m going to look it up, Thanks!

LBK_62Willys,
Welcome, I like your herd! My thoughts are to look up the Members Map and see some of the Members close by you. Watch for OB meet ups in your region! I know with the great Membership here on this site, you will get the information you are looking for.Vance.
