Hey OB, finally doing the trans America trail. Leaving aug 1st.
Running west to east starting in the Bay Area, Ca.
95 4Runner 3.4 on 33’s. Dual locked
Planning on using Sam’s trail as a guide, taking time to explore any side routes along the way.
Any recommendations along the way are greatly appreciated, or even better show me a trail or two

You're probably aware that there's no shortage of amazing 4x4 roads in the western states. I can certainly help you with Colorado, if desired.

Be prepared to get bored out of your mind crossing the Midwestern states.
