Sway bar taking away lift?

So I am currently having my 2004 4runner sr5 4wd, get the toytec 3" ultimate lift put on. Unfortunately toytec didn't send the extended brake lines with the lift so I have to wait to drive it a little longer so the brake lines to snap. But the tech also said the sway bar will take away from the 3" lift in the back. I don't know if that is just pure garbage or what. Any ideas or personal stories like so? Thanks

You shouldn't lose any lift what so ever. Swaybar just meant to control the body roll of the vehicle. The only thing the swaybar should effect should be the amount of articulation you get. If you wanted, you could go get a piece of steel and effectively drop the swaybar a little bit if you're truly concerned about losing lift. Also get longer bolts, just to be safe.

Thanks ya everything got cleared up except now I need wheels cause my tires are touching the control arm... any thoughts on wheels?

You may want to take a look at getting some of these extended endlinks since your lift has changed the geometry of the suspension and thus you need longer end links. I just did an OME 3" lift and bought the end links from this same person and the quality is extremely nice:
